Refund policy
A failed job refunds itself
If a job fails, its credit comes back to your account automatically — you do not need to ask. That includes every kind of failure: a fault in ReliefCAM, a job that runs out of time, a problem in our hosting, or a job you cancel before it starts. You never pay for a file you did not receive. The same applies to an STL file: if we cannot make it, its credit comes back.
A job that ReliefCAM's own checks reject is a failure too. Every G-code file is simulated before you can download it, and a job whose simulation shows the tool cutting into the relief beyond its tolerance fails and refunds rather than giving you the file.
Unused credit packs
You can have a pack refunded in full within 14 days of buying it, as long as none of its credits have been used — that is, your balance still holds at least the whole pack. A pack that has been partly used is not refundable, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
Free credits given at sign-up are not paid for and cannot be refunded.
A file that is wrong because of us
If a job succeeded but the file is wrong in a way that is our fault — not a machine setting or a tool measurement — tell us. We will look at the job, and if the fault is ours we return the credit. This includes an STL file that does not match the relief you saw in the preview.
How to ask
Email hello@reliefcam.com from the address on your account, and say which purchase or job it is about. We reply within two business days. Refunds of purchases are made by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record, to the payment method you used; how long the money takes to arrive depends on your bank.
Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank — it is quicker for you, and a chargeback removes the pack's credits from your account.
